Meeting the Marry Jane Team: Interview with Gerard Malpesa (Part 2)

Welcome to the second part of our interview with Gerard Malpesa, who is responsible for manufacturing oils, extracts and isolates at Marry Jane. If you missed the first part, you can find it here. Today’s part of our conversation is all about the production processes and products that Gerard is responsible for. Also, Gerard will share with us his prediction for oils, extracts and isolates around the world and tell us what makes Marry Jane’s products special and so popular with customers. Enjoy reading, and we hope you find the interview interesting!
Gerard, let’s talk about the production processes and products that you are responsible for. Could you please tell us what makes Marry Jane’s oils, extracts and isolates so special?
Well, we use really fine materials compared to other brands. I have seen many oils, vape pens and other products, and as far as I’m concerned, our products are very effective. Our extracts are of a premium quality. Also, the way we work and make our products is of utmost importance to us, which means that we don’t settle for anything less than the best. We have a lot of customers and they are all satisfied.
What extraction methods do you use to make oils, extracts and isolates?
We use different extraction methods, depending on the product we want to obtain as a result. Among these methods, we do extractions with CO2, ethanol and BHO.
What do you think makes oils a favourite CBD product in the market?
I would say the potential effect they can give to customers. People buy CBD oils to really experience a possible benefit. For example, a lot of people have trouble sleeping, and CBD can help them sleep better. Many other people have pain in different parts of their bodies, epilepsy or other various diseases, and CBD products can help them deal with that. On a personal note, one of my arms is not so good because I had an accident when I was a child. So, I use CBD oil to relieve my pain, and it really helps.
Do you have any predictions about the future of CBD oils, extracts and isolates?
It’s actually hard to predict. For the moment, everything is good. Nowadays, the market is mainly focused on Europe. But I think in a couple of years it will be established in all countries where it is allowed. It’s a really big market and is growing in a number of countries. In my case, for example, I am from Spain, and the Spanish market has grown enormously in the last two years. Here, in Switzerland, the market is also growing rapidly. I also think that CBD products will be standardised in more countries.
You told us that you have already taken CBD oils. Have you tried Marry Jane’s products? If so, do you have any favourites?
Yes, I have tried all of Marry Jane’s products, and my favourite is MCT oil between 15 and 20 percent because I need something strong. It helps me a lot with the pain in my arm. The flexibility of the muscles in my right arm is not super good, so it helps me with my daily movements.
Let’s move on from the products to your work for the company in general. What inspires you in your job?
My main source of inspiration is the passion that I have for what I do. I have loved the cannabis world all of my life. Now, I am a user of CBD oils and vape pens, and this passion is what inspires me.
Gerard, this is our final question. What does Marry Jane mean to you personally?
For me, Marry Jane is the door that has allowed me to grow as a person and a professional. I get to work in a big company on many different projects with people I interact with every day, meet new people and face new challenges. It makes me feel comfortable and gives me power for life. I love working for the company.
This concludes our conversation with Gerard Malpesa. We thank Gerard for his time and the interesting answers to our questions. Do you want more insightful interviews with members of the Marry Jane team? The next one will be out this coming Monday. Stay safe and see you soon!
