Step-by-step guide to cannabis seeds
Paper towel method
1. Prepare seeds:
- Place the seeds on a damp paper towel and cover with another damp towel.
2. Storage:
- Place the cloths in a plastic bag, plastic or glass container. Keep them dark and warm at around 20-25°C.
3. Check humidity and ventilation:
- Check the moisture content of the cloths daily. Air the container regularly to avoid rot and mold growth.
4. Plant seeds:
- Once the seeds have germinated, plant them carefully and not too deeply (~5 mm) into the prepared substrate.

Water glass method
1. Prepare the glass:
- Fill a glass with water that has a temperature of about 20-25°C.
2. Soak seeds:
- Carefully place the seeds into the jar, making sure they are completely submerged.
3. Store in a dark and warm place:
- Place the jar in a dark place that is also warm. Fresh seeds should sink into the jar.
4. Check and change water:
- If no root tip is visible after 24-48 hours, change the water. Fresh oxygen in the water is important. Repeat this step daily until the seeds germinate.
5. Plant seeds:
- Once the seeds have germinated, plant them carefully and not too deeply (~5 mm) into the prepared substrate.
